Public Speaking for Trainers

Public speaking, when viewed as a technique, empowers trainers to communicate more effectively. The techniques used to train a public speaker explore all aspects of delivery and content organization from the standpoint of the audience. Organizing our knowledge into complementary bits that are enhanced by delivery techniques adds impact to our message and teachings, resulting in better content comprehension. In this webinar, the presenters share their combined expertise in public speaking and training healthcare interpreters to help trainers enhance their delivery in any training context.

Webinar purpose:

  • Identify key considerations when organizing content to ensure effective communication
  • Discuss techniques for analyzing content from the listeners’ point of view
  • Demonstrate speaking techniques that trainers can use to engage trainees
  • Present practice activities that trainers can use to develop their own public speaking skills
