Development of the Standards of Training

The National Standards for Healthcare Interpreter Training Programs were developed by the NCIHC Standards and Training Committee, with assistance from a Project Advisory Committee, contracted experts, and generous volunteers. The Standards document was released in May 2011 after more than two years of careful research and consultation. Click to download a copy to learn how the process evolved.
